if goncharov is having a tumblr renaissance, here’s my question: why is nobody talking about the video game adaptation? it got a remake only a few years ago, so I’m honestly surprise that it hasn’t been mentioned at all. this is my call to action. if you love goncharov, I ask that you to check out the video game, it is just as much of a masterpiece as the movie.
Imagine an awkward Spock trying his darnest to court Kirk properly, in the ways of proper human courting. So he does research
He asks his mum, he looks through thousands of books, anything he can find on human courting and he completely spoils Kirk, not knowing there are more casual ways to do it
First date, he shows up with a huge bouquet of flowers, blushing green to his ears, so nervous (in a completely logical, Vulcan way)
And Kirk just decides then and there ‘yes. I’m going to marry this boy.’
